KINGMAN – Hotel Beale was built in 1898, and its remarkable neon sign which reads “Hotel Beale Air Cooled” was later installed in 1936 as Kingman’s first neon sign. After being dark for more than 40 years, the historic neon sign is going to be relit.
KINGMAN – Enjoy live music with Ramblin Rob at Hive Five Meadery. All ages are welcome and admission is free. The event will be held Saturday, April 18 6 to 9 p.m. at Hive Five Meadery, 731 E Andy Devine Ave.
Some may remember the frightening warning that was issued to the people of Hawaii on January 12, 2018, due to some very incorrect information. An incoming missile alert sent the residents into full-blown panic that Saturday morning before the alert had been declared a false alarm.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College Community Education recently inspired young learners through its Chemistry in Action program, a hands-on class designed to introduce students ages 11–15 to the fundamentals of chemistry.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Jack Hardie Park playground is temporarily closed to allow for the construction of a shade structure and lighting improvements over the existing playground equipment to enhance comfort and safety for park visitors. During construction, the playground area is fenced off and inaccessible.
