KINGMAN – April 27 was the 7th Annual Superhero 5K Walk/Run & Kids Dash in Kingman. There were many Heroes for a foster child, participating today in this great event as they came dressed in their favorite Superhero for CASA’s  Superhero Run/Walk. It started out with the Kids Dash followed by the 5K Run/Walk and a Awards Ceremony! All the proceeds went to benefit CASA Council Helping Children of Mohave County. Big “Thanks” to Sponsors, UniSource Energy Services, Atia and Ahmad S. Khan, Kingman Regional Medical Center, Taco Bell and Hualapai Kwik Stop.

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Last week, Sunstone Real Estate Group partnered up with Mohave Shred for the company’s seventh annual Shred Hunger event. LAKE HAVASU CITY  – Four incredible organizations teamed up last week for one very valuable and powerful mission; To bring children and adults with physical and intellectual challenges together for two days at the beach and a chance to participate in some awesome water sports. KINGMAN –  Mohave County Master Gardeners will present a workshop on venomous critters on Saturday, May 11 from 1 to 3 pm., at the Mohave County Library – Kingman branch, 3269 E. Burbank St. This will be a fun and informational presentation to learn how to get along with our reptilian neighbors. The workshop is free and open to the public.

Join Mohave Homes for a fun night of dueling pianos, amazing food, beautiful views and good company at their Cornerstone Mission fundraiser event, Roaring into the 20s Gala. The Gala will be held at the Hualapai Mountain Resort beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 10. This will be a black-tie event. 1920’s attire is encouraged but not required.
