BULLHEAD CITY – Knowing how to access a child’s grades and assignments, or being able to communicate with a teacher, are important tools for parents.  The Bullhead City School District (BCSD) will hold a free workshop for parents to understand how to use ParentVue, the District’s online portal with those capabilities. MOHAVE COUNTY – Audrey Gee and her short drama film Dear Starlings won the $500 grand prize at the Mohave Community College Bullhead City Student Arts Club’s 4th Annual Flash Film Festival. The Flash Film Festival was created by the Arts Club to bring local video and filmmakers together, spark more interest in the craft and highlight video and filmmaking in northwestern Arizona. The Jerry Abrose Veterans Council (JAVC) was formed in July 2010 by two former Marines, Jerry Abrose and Gene Crego. Jerry Ambrose wanted to bring the various veteran organizations together to coordinate their efforts in helping veterans in need and promoting veterans’ issues. When it was originally formed, it was called the Kingman Veterans Council, and the first meeting was held at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10386 in Kingman.
