LAKE HAVASU CITY – If you just so happen to be spending the Labor Day weekend in Lake Havasu, you may want to make a stop at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews. The restaurant is famous for their delicious entrees and beverages and will be partnering up with health care nonprofit, Final Journey for an all-day fundraiser.

With over 30 years’ experience in the nursing profession, founder of Final Journey Charles Perkins spent many years with hospice patients and in home care.

LBRW dinner slated

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The monthly London Bridge Republican Women (LBRW) dinner will be held Monday September 9. The dinner will be held in the Shugrues Bridgeview Room. Check in is at 5 p.m. with dinner and the meeting at 6 p.m. Cost is $25 cash or check at the door.

This month’s guest speakers are Lake Havasu City School Board candidates Kyle Neidermann (incumbent), David Rose, Matt Houston, and Evelyn Tinsley.

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation received a generous $4,200 donation from Craig Plumbing covering the cost of swim lessons for 100 kids.

“The timing could not be more perfect with August being Drowning Impact Awareness Month,” said Aquatic Supervisor Swan Cooke. We appreciate the donation very much and look forward to empowering more children in the community to learn and become more confident in the water.”

LAKE HAVASU CITY – In 2022 the owners of Glitch Barcadium, Kevin Wright and Corey Wilcox, dreamt of opening a video arcade in Lake Havasu. This past Sunday it was decided to bring arcade enthusiasts together for their very first pinball tournament.

Glitch Barcadium’s First Ever Pinball Tournament took place on Sunday, August 11 at Glitch Barcadium arcade.
