Can I trust You?
I am too trusting.
Twice in the last two weeks I have been the victim of burglary. Both times it was my parked car at home during the wee hours of the night.
This is how old I am; I remember leaving my front door open at night with just the screen door closed. The main reason was air flow as most of the homes in my area had evaporative cooling and, realistically, there was little threat of invasion.
Now I am faced with rising crime and security issues.
Regarding theft, it is of interest that stealing made the list of “Thou shalt nots” in the bible.

Havasu man wins annual wildlife photo contest
PHOENIX — The Arizona Game and Fish Department is excited to announce the winners of its annual wildlife photo contest.
The 12 winning photographs are included in the full-size 2025 wildlife calendar that is published in the November-December 2024 issue of Arizona Wildlife Views magazine. Subscriptions ordered through Dec. 31, 2024, will receive the calendar issue, while supplies last, and also get free issue(s) added to the order. Kingman Girl Scout leader recognized for volunteerism
KINGMAN – A Girl Scout leader of more than 30 years received a prestigious award for her work with the community.
Grace Ricca-Runge, 68, and a lifelong resident of Kingman, was the recipient of the Girl Scouts of America Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC) Impact Award in Phoenix Nov. 9 recognizing her volunteerism, leadership and enthusiasm for Girl Scouts.
Ricca has been leading Troop 1090 for 33 years. She’s also a co-service team manager, neighborhood treasurer and has been managing the Camp Stephens Girl Scout camp in the Hualapai Mountains since 1997.
