DCP PHOTO

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (December 12, 2024) –The Mohave County Flood Control District recently completed maintenance on a 0.9-mile reach of the Mohave Wash Channel between Gordon Drive and Bank Street in Kingman.

The maintenance consisted of clearing out vegetation growing in the channel, repairing the gabion channel banks, and cleaning the rock erosion protection at the outlet of the Gordon Drive culverts.

Randy Gremlich, Flood Control District Engineer reports that “this maintenance work will allow the channel to better convey storm runoff.  The work was done under a job order contract by Lewis Construction.”
