The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead and allow for extra travel time because of long-term lane restrictions on US 93 near State Route 97 in Yavapai County. Motorist should slow down and use caution around construction crews and equipment while these restrictions are in place through June: Southbound US 93 will be narrowed to one lane only (right lane closed) between milepost 158 and milepost 160. The Mohave Community Orchestra, comprised of musicians from a 10-year-old through senior citizens, will present its final season performance at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Kingman High School Agular Auditorium, located at 4182 Bank Street. According to Conductor Arthur Swanson, the concert will include a wide variety of music from the standard orchestral repertoire, the stage, opera, jazz and a Dixieland ensemble will perform a salute to Louis Armstrong. Bullhead City is once again gearing up for another huge soccer tournament this weekend that is expected to have a significant impact on the local economy by bringing approximately 1,000 talented youth soccer players and their families to the community. The 8th Annual River Daze Tournament is a two day tournament that will be held Saturday, April 13 through Sunday, April 14. The City and AYSO Regions 397 will host over 80 youth soccer teams this year with players from Corona, CA., Riverside, CA., Ontario, CA., and many Arizona communities. Two people suffered burn injuries in a Tuesday fire that destroyed a double wide mobile home in north Kingman. Personnel from the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District (NACFD) responded at 6:31 a.m. to the incident in the 2200 block of Northfield Avenue.    The structure was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on scene.     “Both occupants escaped the residence and were found outside by firefighters,” a news release stated. They were transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center for treatment.    Officials said crews knocked the fire down in 30 minutes and that extensive mop-up and overhaul operations were conducted. A…
