Cornhole Under the Stars Tournament scheduled for Memorial Weekend

Registration has started for the Cornhole Under the Stars Tournament, which will take place on Friday, May 24, under the large ramada at Rotary Park in Bullhead City. Gerlach honored as Citizen of the Month

Honored as May Citizen of the Month at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s May 17 meeting was Tim Gerlach (shown with Rotarian Susan Williams, Gerlach’s wife Wendy, daughter Dakotah and niece Sadi). Gerlach is president of the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 765 in Kingman which sponsors The Young Eagles. This year they’ve completed two Young Eagles Flight Rallies with a third planned and have hosted a Flight Safety Seminar in cooperation with the FAA and the USMC. In an effort to save more lives on Arizona’s roadways this month the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety is partnering with Kingman Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies to enforce Arizona’s seat belt and child safety seat laws.
