Registration has started for the Cornhole Under the Stars Tournament, which will take place on Friday, May 24, under the large ramada at Rotary Park in Bullhead City. Honored as May Citizen of the Month at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s May 17 meeting was Tim Gerlach (shown with Rotarian Susan Williams, Gerlach’s wife Wendy, daughter Dakotah and niece Sadi). Gerlach is president of the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 765 in Kingman which sponsors The Young Eagles. This year they’ve completed two Young Eagles Flight Rallies with a third planned and have hosted a Flight Safety Seminar in cooperation with the FAA and the USMC. Now being organized is the 2019 Kingman Air Fest, fly-in and Open House scheduled for October 19. 

Arizona Game and Fish Department partners with the Western Native Trout Challenge Deep in the West, under a secret rock in a cool stream, lies a prize worth finding. Anglers of all skill levels are invited to participate in the Western Native Trout Challenge and put the lure of the West on their bucket list. In addition to earning bragging rights and prizes at the Expert, Advanced and Master Levels, participants will help the Western Native Trout Initiative (WNTI) conserve 21 species of native trout.
