MOHAVE COUNTY – Officials at Flagstaff’s Nestlé Purina Pet Care Company made a donation of pet-food products to a local no-kill domestic animal rescue and sanctuary in Mohave County. LAKE HAVASU – The body of a boating accident victim was recovered from Lake Havasu Friday night, August 23. The search began Wednesday when 17-year-old Adam Gomez went missing. Mohave County Sheriff Doug Schuster said the Redondo Beach, California resident jumped into the water from a boat. He said the operator of the boat was circling back to pick him up when the vessel and its propeller struck the teen who then slipped under the water.
