A Race to Remember: Join Creative Care Foundation’s ‘Journey One Step at a Time’

KINGMAN – The 11th Annual Race to Remember is being held on Saturday, October 5 at the Lingenfelter Center. The Creative Care Foundation will be hosting this exciting community event along with The Lingenfelter Center, The Gardens Rehab & Care Center, and The Legacy Rehab & Care Center. Race to Remember is in partnership with the Kingman Regional Medical Center.

This fundraiser supports Lingenfelter Center, The Gardens, and Legacy Alzheimer’s residents.

Schools surplus equipment sale open to the public

BULLHEAD CITY – If one person’s trash is another person’s treasure, surplus supplies in the Bullhead City School District may be someone’s gold mine. The district will be launching a series of ongoing warehouse sales on August 15 and 29, plus September 12, with more to follow.

The first three will be held in the former kindergarten building for Mountain View School, located at the southeast corner of Optimum Way (Third Street) and Lee Avenue.

AEPCO granted continuance of rezoning application

MOHAVE VALLEY – Arizona Electric Power Cooperative (AEPCO) has been granted its Request for a Continuance of its application for rezoning with an amendment to its general plan to develop a natural gas-powered electric generation facility in Mohave Valley. 

Mohave County Chairman of the board Hildy Angius has granted the request and the agenda item has been moved from the August 19, Board of Supervisors meeting to the September 16 meeting.
