Beginning today, Friday, November 15, until 5:00 p.m., Desert Construction will close Beverly Avenue between Western Ave. and Fairfax Street to finish street improvements. This closure will also take place again, Monday, November 18 during the same time frame. The street will re-open each evening and will be open during the weekend.

KINGMAN –– The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Kingman Field Office will host a public scoping meeting November 19 to present a proposed mine plan from Kalamazoo Materials Inc. that would allow for expansion of an existing decorative rock mineral material site near the town of Chloride in Mohave County. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The public is invited to an open house to discuss the upcoming HAWK Pedestrian Signal Project on Monday, November 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Smoketree Elementary School, located at 2395 Smoketree Avenue North.
