MOHAVE COUNTY – The District 1 Board of Supervisors race is attracting the most attention in Mohave County roughly eight months from the 2020 primary election. Eight citizens have formally declared intent to qualify candidacy to seek the position being vacated when incumbent Gary Watson retires at the end of this year. Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club welcomed Kyle Walsh, Mohave County Department of Public Health Environmental Health Supervisor, as their December 20th speaker (shown with club president Karen Brown). Walsh addressed the club on obtaining health certificates for food service. Two-hour classes are conducted by the health department to obtain food service cards, which are valid for three years.
