Petrified Forest National Park is excited to announce that park visitors can, once again, have the unique experience of talking with a park paleontologist while they work on fossils in the demonstration fossil laboratory. The laboratory is currently viewable Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The President of the governing board of the Lake Havasu Unified School District is the target of a recall campaign. Lake Havasu City resident Siena Snedeker picked up recall petitions this week seeking the ouster of Lisa Roman. “President Roman’s failure to engage, thoughtfully discuss and understand the science that she claims to be following has proven detrimental to our students,” said Snedeker’s recall statement. “Her unwillingness to fully open our schools (K-12 has demonstrated that she is serving teachers at the expense of students and parents.” Roman said she’s taking heat for her positions on…

KINGMAN – U.S. Senator Martha McSally visited Mohave County this weekend and wowed a crowd of more than 200 people Saturday night. McSally was the keynote speaker at the Mohave County Republican Party’s 2020 Lincoln Day Dinner at Beale Celebrations. Other guest speakers were Congressman Paul Gosar, Arizona State Senator Sonny Borrelli, and former State Senator Kelli Ward.
