LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department was awarded a $20,000 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) for conducting increased traffic enforcement operations. This will be for the 2020-2021 federal fiscal year, which runs from October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021. This Selective Traffic Enforcement Program, or S.T.E.P. Grant will provide the Lake Havasu City Police Department the ability to increase traffic enforcement capabilities by assigning personnel on overtime to concentrate on speed enforcement activities and aggressive driving. KINGMAN – The City of Kingman and the Kingman Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to launch a Shop Local Kingman campaign.
