KINGMAN – A development agreement for construction of the Rancho Santa Fe Interstate 40 traffic interchange, a parkway arterial, connector roadways and infrastructure was approved with some fanfare at Tuesday’s Kingman City Council meeting. Vice Mayor Travis Lingenfelter said the interchange first made the city’s capital project list 49 years ago. “This is a really big deal that this is approved and this goes forward tonight. MOHAVE COUNTY – Dist. 4 Mohave County Sup. Jean Bishop earned a new four-year term Nov. 3, but a Golden Valley businessman hopes to oust her from office next spring. Robert Hall launched an effort to recall Bishop one week before the general election. “I’m very confident. We’ve already collected over 2,000 signatures and it’s only been since I filed the paperwork,” Hall said. 2,998 valid petition signatures are required to force a recall vote and Hall said they want to collect 4,000-5,000 to provide a cushion where signatures might be disqualified. “We’re going to go for it,” Hall said….

Martin Swanty Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Kia of Kingman made a donation to the Kingman Cancer Care Unit (KCCU) in the amount of $5450. Martin Swanty donated $50 for each vehicle purchased in October to the non-profit charity.
