BULLHEAD CITY / LAUGHLIN – Eight families of homeless Bullhead City Elementary School District students received Thanksgiving meals this week, courtesy of the annual “Feed A Family” charitable initiative of the Aquarius and Edgewater Casino Resorts.  Now in its ninth year, “Feed A Family” allows Aquarius and Edgewater guests to donate player points or cash.  Each $25 food box feeds a family of four and includes a seven-pound ham or 12-pound turkey along with potatoes, gravy, vegetables, rolls, cranberry sauce, pie and whipped cream.  The properties cover any shortages. KINGMAN – Newly elected Kingman City council members Keith Walker and Cherish Sammeli are excited about beginning their four year terms next week. KINGMAN — The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Kingman Field Office has issued a decision record and finding of no significant impact on the proposed mine plan from Kalamazoo Materials Inc. that would allow for expansion of an existing decorative rock quarry near the town of Chloride in Mohave County. The current rock quarry and access road encompasses 37 acres. The decision record approves the proposed action which would expand the mine site west of the existing location, adding an additional 23 acres. KINGMAN – The City of Kingman will be conducting a public input meeting regarding the Downtown Infrastructure Design Project. The public input meeting is being held Wednesday, December 16 at 5:30 p.m. A video presentation is available for the public to watch regarding the potential streetscape designs here: https://downtowndesignkingman.com/.
