Lisa Atkins, State Land Commissioner, spoke at a recent Kingman Republican Women’s Club meeting to approximately 25 people about her duties as Land Commissioner and provided those present with maps depicting State land as well as other land ownership in the State of Arizona. MOHAVE COUNTY – One of Mohave County’s primary supporters of President Donald Trump and a pair of prominent local democrats have wildly disparate assessments of what transpired at the nation’s Capitol Wednesday. Steve Robinson, the Golden Valley man who served as the local field organizer for the 2020 Trump campaign, said the President is not responsible for the insurrection, and subsequent desecration of the “People’s House”. KINGMAN – Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) was awarded another ‘A’ when the Leapfrog Group announced their fall 2020 Hospital Safety Grade on December 14, 2020. This designation recognizes KRMC’s efforts in protecting patients from preventable harm. The Leapfrog Group is a national nonprofit organization committed to improving healthcare quality and safety. Walmart reopens after deep cleaning

KINGMAN – The sun came up and Walmart reopened its Kingman supercenter this morning. Walmart shut down the store for what it called a “deep cleaning” from 2:00 p.m. Monday until 7:00 a.m. Wednesday. The company provided a statement to the city of Kingman prior to closure indicating the store cleansing is part of the corporation commitment to public safety as it monitors COVID-19 infections in the communities it serves.
