KINGMAN – Nine Kingman area residents have applied to become the next Cerbat Justice of the Peace. A vacancy will be created by the retirement of Judge John Taylor late this month. Mohave County Human Resources Director Ken Cunningham said a four-member committee will review the applications and conduct interviews with the top candidates. Military medical personnel to provide staffing relief at KRMC

KINGMAN– On Sunday, February 28, U.S. Air Force medical personnel arrived in Kingman to provide staffing support to Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC). This support comes at the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and as part of the whole-of-government COVID-19 response operations. MOHAVE COUNTY – The County Board of Supervisors unanimously ratified and approved the Intergovernmental Agreement(IGA) between the County and the Arizona Department of Economic Security for the administration of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). This will provide financial relief for both Arizona renters and landlords. As of now, landlords and renters in Mohave County are able to apply for the ERAP and can receive up to $3,500 a month in rent and utility assistance. The program expires on December 31.
