Pegasus viability explored at BOS

MOHAVE COUNTY – The viability of multi-billion-dollar solar powered data center planned south of Kingman off of Interstate 40 was discussed during the March 15 Mohave County Board of Supervisors meeting in Kingman. The Pegasus Group in June, 2019 said it would develop phase one of its project within six months. The project proposed in the Griffith Energy Industrial corridor south of Kingman never got off the ground before a second phase was announced in Dec., 2019. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City is conducting a citizen survey to ask residents for their ideas and opinions about the City.  The results of the survey will help the City identify what they are doing well and where they need to improve, in order to meet the needs of citizens.  8,000 households will receive invitations in the mail, starting the week of March 22, asking them to participate in the survey. Shambaugh & Sons bringing 60 new jobs to county

MOHAVE COUNTY – A sprinkler pipe fabrication company is setting up shop on the Nucor Steel campus along Route 66 just outside Kingman. Mohave County announced Shambaugh & Sons will first operate from an existing vacant building. Economic Development Director Tami Ursenbach said Shambaugh will subsequently utilize an 84,000 sq. ft. facility that is under construction on Nucor-owned property.
