Fourth St. There will be a gun raffle, silent and live auctions, and guest speakers. KINGMAN – Due to the recent cyber-attack on the City of Kingman government operations, the March 9, Planning & Zoning Commission meeting and the March 10 Board of Adjustment meeting have been cancelled. As of March 5, the City of Kingman continues to experience computer system issues and therefore cannot process any online communications. MOHAVE COUNTY – Legislative proposals to provide tax credits that might help Texas-based Nacero LLC commit to build and operate a $6-billion zero-sulfur gas processing facility in Mohave County were not heard at the state capitol as had been expected. KINGMAN – The new Mohave County Courthouse addition holds its first jury trials next week. Superior Court jury trials held in the adjacent historic courthouse in downtown Kingman were suspended in December, when coronavirus case numbers were spiking. Prospective jurors will be summoned Monday for the trial of Greg Mack. The 49-year-old Kingman man is accused of scuffling with Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies during a 2018 landlord tenant dispute in Valle Vista. KINGMAN – Kingman Mayor Jen Miles has been notified that signatures on petitions proposing her recall from office have been validated by the Mohave County Recorder’s Office. Miles said the office has determined that the petitions bear 1,512 valid signatures, 128 more than the minimum number required to qualify the question. Recall leader James Coffman said he initiated the recall last September largely in protest of the municipal mask mandate that was in effect at that time.
