MOHAVE COUNTY – More than a dozen people pulled papers to possibly run for Kingman City office in the current election cycle, but only six people submitted nominating petitions by the March 23 deadline. City Clerk Annie Meredith said all four incumbents whose terms expire this year turned in their paperwork, as did two challengers.
KINGMAN – Board member Logan Marsh gained permission from the board on March 10th to continue working with KHI/KRMC on re-negotiating the hospital’s lease with the board. He will be joined by Chairman, Katie Tacheron.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College’s Advanced Manufacturing Training Center (AMTC) has been named Higher Education and Workforce Development Project of the Year at the 2026 Real Estate Development (RED) Awards, hosted by AZ Big Media and AZRE Magazine.
The award was announced March 19, 2026, during the 20th annual RED Awards celebration at the Embassy Suites Scottsdale.
BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City School District governing board approved a localized plan Friday to address declining enrollments, while at the same time maintaining strong financial reserves.
Under the plan, a total of 22 positions will be eliminated or consolidated through attrition (retirements and resignations), vacancies and layoffs.
