KINGMAN – Two Kingman Interstate 40 Traffic Interchange (TI) projects are advancing, one being advertised for bid later this month with construction of the other starting tomorrow (Thursday). The Tempe-based Fisher Sand & Gravel Co. is the contractor building the new free-flowing interchange that will better connect US 93 and Interstate 40 in west Kingman.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Do you know the candidates currently up for those Lake Havasu City Council seats? It’s that time of year again for the duty-bound team, to invite eligible candidates for this year’s primary election.
KINGMAN – New Image Primary Care welcomes you to their new office building off of Stockton Hill Rd. This office is a new installment into Kingman as of January. They have become their own independent office and are members of the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce. This ribbon cutting was also in celebration of their two primaries and fellow Kingman residents, Michelle Fletcher, FNP and Jocelyn Pawlicki, FNP.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City is proud to welcome Gabrielle “Gabby” Vera as its new Parks and Recreation Director. With 15 years of experience in parks and recreation, Vera brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success. She previously served as the Regional Park Superintendent for Maricopa County, where she oversaw the development and management of numerous regional parks as well as innovative programs that enhanced community engagement and outdoor recreation.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce and local business owners made a big splash into the past at their annual meeting and celebration of business awards ceremony. The mullets and mixtapes themed event took place on Friday, June 14 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Shugrue’s Bridgeview Room.
KINGMAN – A test of the ballot tabulation equipment and programs for the July 30 Mohave County Primary Election will take place on June 27 at 9 a.m. by the Mohave County Elections Department. A separate test will also be conducted by the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office at 2:35 p.m. on that date. The location of the tests is the Mohave County Election Department, 700 W. Beale, Kingman. It will be open to the press and the public.
