MOHAVE COUNTY – The U.S. Department of Education just notified Mohave Community College (MCC) that the college will receive a prestigious grant totaling nearly $3 million.

The federal grant will support MCC’s Pathways to Success for Hispanic and Low-Income Students project. As a designated Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), MCC is committed to empowering students from diverse backgrounds, and this grant will bolster those efforts.

KINGMAN – The wife of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz campaigned in Kingman on Monday, September 16 to encourage Kingman’s Democratic population to continue the campaign themselves for about 50 days until voter registration ends – 29 days before election day. Hospital district board approves additional $2.3 million IGA with KRMC

KINGMAN – The Board of Directors of the HDOMC (Hospital District Number One of Mohave County) on August 29, approved an IGA (Intergovernmental Agreement) with KRMC (Kingman Regional Medical Center) to provide matching funds of $2.3 million for an AHCCCS (Arizona Health Cost Containment System) program, APSI (Access to Professional Services Initiative).
