MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Board of Supervisors (BOS) voted on Monday, April 7, to reject a proposal to build a cell tower in Dolan Springs.
KINGMAN – The Phoenix company Haley & Aldrich, Inc. has earned a National Recognition Award for exemplary engineering achievement in the American Council of Engineering Companies’ (ACEC) 58th annual Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA). The award comes for an environmental remediation project at Kingman, Ariz., municipal airport.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – The pedestrians of Lake Havasu will now be getting more safety as eighteen solar powered flashing pedestrian crossing systems will be bought and placed at multiple crosswalks located in the downtown area.
MOHAVE COUNTY – County Health Director Melissa Palmer says that following an emergency meeting with the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) “substantial reductions in federal grant funding have been taken. These cuts will have a direct and immediate impact on the county’s ability to deliver essential public health programs.”
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College (Mohave College beginning August 2025) Board of Governors officially accepted the resignation of Dr. Stacy Klippenstein, effective June 30, 2025, following his recent appointment as the new President of the College of Southern Nevada.
