KINGMAN – The City of Kingman Department of Economic Development is pleased to announce that Shambaugh & Son broke ground in the Industrial Park on November 15, 2023. Construction is underway for the company’s 72,000 square ft. fabrication facility. Progressive Pipe Fabricators, a division of Shambaugh, will fabricate and deliver over 20,000 individual sprinkler pipes per week. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College just released its Facilities Master Plan (FMP), which serves as roadmap for the future of campus buildings and infrastructure.    The MCC board approved the Facilities Master Plan in October and appreciated that the FMP is focused on improving campus facilities for student learning, and that it is a long-range guiding document.   “I like that this plan is flexible and allows the College to adapt projects to meet the needs of future students, and that board members will still have the opportunity to review and provide input prior to the approval of any individual building project,” said MCC…

MOHAVE COUNTY – Ballot counting and Chairman choice were points of contention during Monday’s Mohave County board of supervisors meeting. The board again turned thumbs down on hand counting ballots and elected supervisor Hildy Angius as chairman for next year. Board of Supervisors Clerk Ginny Anderson was asked to read into the record a lengthy letter from Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes before the ballot tabulation debate that stretched more than two hours.
