Bullhead Fire chosen as Community Development Block Grant recipient

BULLHEAD CITY  – The Bullhead Fire Department (BHCFD) was recently chosen as a grant recipient of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). This grant is a federally funded program that allows selected applicants to obtain funds to address a wide variety of community needs.

In order to be successful, the public’s assistance is needed. During March, if you live near/around District Six (2025 Clearwater Dr.), BHCFD crews and CERT team members will be out conducting a special survey required by the State of Arizona.

These completed surveys will allow the department to obtain the CDBG grant funds, which will assist with the purchase of a new Type 1 Medic Unit (Ambulance) that will provide emergency assistance to District 6 and surrounding areas.
