Bullhead City receives Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting

BULLHEAD CITY  -The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the City of Bullhead City’s Finance Department a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting due to the City’s comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2019.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.

“I’m very proud of our Finance staff to once again win this prestigious award,” City Manager Toby Cotter said. “The award demonstrates a high level of transparency and competency in the Finance Department. Rudy and his team always show extreme care for city finances and work hard every day to do great work for the community.”
