Beyond Dance: Studio will showcase styles for multiple eras

LAKE HAVASU CITY –  Owner of Beyond Dance Ashley Ferris currently has her students rehearsing for their debut show titled Can You Feel It. Scheduled to take place at the end of this month, it will be a great opportunity to shine in the spotlight for the student performers. A native of England, Ferris moved to Havasu almost six years ago to be closer to family.

She said her background in dance began early on by the influence of her grandfather. By 15, she began teaching dance locally at various studios. As a self-employed contractor in the performing arts, Ferris opened Beyond Dance.

With the company offering classes beginning from six all the way into the teen years, the recital will feature intermediate and advanced levels in group entertainment. Intending to showcase different eras of dance, the students will show off a dynamic collection of styles featuring tap, jazz, hip hop, and swing. Tickets are now available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Beyond Dance studio, 2168 McCulloch Blvd N.

The Can You Feel It show will be a two-day dance concert scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m. at The Lake Havasu Performing Arts Center, 2675 Palo Verde Blvd S. Ferris is excited for the launch of the production and also had something special to share for potential audience members.

“We will actually have three performances happening that weekend. The Soiree of Ballet is going to be at the London Bridge Convention Center Friday, May 29 it’s an evening show that starts at 6 p.m. We can’t wait for the community to see how gifted and dedicated these students really are,” Ferris said.
