DOLAN SPRINGS -An attempted homicide in Dolan Springs is under investigation by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said a woman called dispatch at about 12:05 on Wednesday, July 3 and reported she shot her husband at a residence in the 17000 block of Needle Dr.
Responding detectives located the unidentified male victim with a gunshot wound to his back. The victim was flown to a Las Vegas hospital where he was reported in critical condition.
The suspect, Amber Bender, 41, Henderson, Nev., is held in the Mohave County Adult Detention Center on an attempted second-degree murder charge.
