Lake Havasu City partners with schools to promote e-bike safety

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City partners with all local schools, including those outside the Lake Havasu Unified School District, to educate students on e-bike safety. Through the “Bicycle and E-Bike Safety” training, Lake Havasu City Police Department (LHCPD) officers from the Traffic Enforcement Unit and Community Services Unit reached approximately 4,800 students. The training provides students in grades three through twelve with critical knowledge of Arizona state laws, local ordinances, and best practices for operating bicycles and e-bikes safely.
