April 10, Arizona reached a significant milestone in property protection as the Governor signed Senate Bill 1479 (SB1479) into law – the state’s first comprehensive measure aimed at preventing deed fraud. SB1479 was sponsored by Senator Frank Carroll and co-sponsored by Senator’s Fernandez, Kavanagh, Payne, Sears, Shamp, Shope and Bliss.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College is pleased to congratulate Wendy Donnell, purchasing manager, on being selected to receive a professional development scholarship from the Arizona State Capitol Chapter of NIGP, The Institute for Public Procurement.
KINGMAN – The Kingman Powerhouse Kiwanis Club is hosting a golf tournament on Saturday, April 18, and every swing helps support local children right here in our community.
KINGMAN – Hotel Beale was built in 1898, and its remarkable neon sign which reads “Hotel Beale Air Cooled” was later installed in 1936 as Kingman’s first neon sign. After being dark for more than 40 years, the historic neon sign is going to be relit.
MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave College Medical Assisting Certificate program has earned accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), recognizing the program’s alignment with national quality standards in health professions education.
