Mom killer gets life sentence

KINGMAN – A Kingman man who killed his girlfriend’s mother was given a “life prison” sentence during a June 5 hearing at the Mohave County courthouse. The punishment is mandated in the plea agreement for Mark Baldonado, 32. Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle explained that Baldonado may never get out of prison but he would have to serve 25 calendar years before his release becomes possible. LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Las Vegas man drowned over the weekend at Lake Havasu. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Looking for some family fun this summer?  The Aquatic Center is offering open swim sessions Monday through Saturday, starting Monday, June 8th. Weekly session are available from 11:30a.m. to 2:00p.m., 2:30p.m. to 5:00p.m. and a  Saturday session from 12:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. It is our goal to create an environment focused on protocols that protect everyone who enters the Aquatic Center for open swim. KINGMAN – The City of Kingman would like to invite residents to help us raise the American and POW/MIA flags at Veteran’s Memorial Park next to Locomotive Park.
