KINGMAN – Through a virtual, unanimous vote, the Kingman City Council adopted a new logo for the city last night. The new logo will be rolled out in phases across the city, and the community should start seeing it in places almost immediately. The process of designing the new logo for adoption took months of work by team members in multiple departments working alongside GEO, an Arizona-based marketing firm. BOULDER CITY, Nev. -The National Park Service is offering two business opportunities to operate guided scuba diving tours on the B-29 Superfortress submerged within Lake Mead. The plane crashed into Lake Mead July 21, 1948, while engaged in high-altitude atmospheric research. The crew of five survived the crash, but the plane was lost in the depths of the lake. It was discovered by local divers in August 2001. In June 2003, archeologists from the National Park Service Submerged Resources Center mapped and documented the wreck for management and educational purposes.
