Historic first: Bighorns Men’s Soccer announces local lineup for upcoming season

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Head Men’s Soccer Coach Camilo Valencia has announced the local lineup for the squad’s inaugural season in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Bullhead and Lake Havasu cities will both be represented on the pitch come the season’s start in August 2024 with the signings of Leo Cortinez, Yahir Acero and Jose Alvarado. Cortinez, a 5’11 Forward, graduated from Mohave High School in Bullhead City in 2022. Cortinez was born in Guerrero, Mexico, to Leonardo Cortinez and Lidia Eriza, and now resides in Bullhead City. UniSource plans resource expansion to preserve reliable electric service for customers

UniSource Energy Services plans to more than double its electric energy resources over the next 15 years with new wind, solar, natural gas and storage systems that can support continued reliability amid increasing resource constraints on the regional electric grid. LHCPD awarded Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Grant

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department was awarded a $30,000.00 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) for conducting increased traffic enforcement operations. This will be for the 2023-2024 federal fiscal year, which runs from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024. This Selective Traffic Enforcement Program or S.T.E.P.
