Bullhead City youth employment benefits all 

effects of its history as a leading employer of local youth, which has proven to be a net benefit for the employees, the organization, and the whole community.  “This past summer, we had 68 youth ages 14-18 working various positions,” said Bullhead City Manager Toby Cotter. “The average summer earnings amongst youth employees were $5,600. The average hourly wage was $13.92. P&Z meeting dates change; Journey Church project discussed at council meeting

KINGMAN – Interim City Manager Grady Miller has “called dibs” on the Kingman City Council chambers each Tuesday, prompting a change of day for monthly meetings of the Planning and Zoning Commission. The P&Z commission has met on the second Tuesday of each month for more than a decade. Community Development Manager Sean Osterman told members during their Nov. 14 meeting that it has been decided that the Commission should instead meet on Wednesdays, beginning in Jan. Lighthouse Club gives LHC community safety on the lake

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Many don’t associate lighthouses with the desert, but Lake Havasu has 28 of them, and the Lake Havasu Lighthouse Club plans to build more in the future. The Lighthouse is a nonprofit group committed to the conservation and progress of Lake Havasu. The lighthouses are replicas but are built with great materials and the club maintains the lighthouses on a regular basis.  The first lighthouse was built in 2000 and by 2005, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors allowed the club’s sponsorship and funding for a light house of their choice. Aeron D. Webster

It is with great sadness that the family of Aeron D. Webster, 59, of Kingman, announces that he passed away September 27, 2023. Aeron was born to Thomas G. and Carole Elaine Webster in Kingman on November 27, 1964. Aeron graduated from Kingman High School at the age of 17, and immediately went into the workforce as a concrete finisher. For the past 11 years he worked fabricating rock countertops for Cabinets by Dave in Golden Valley. Aeron was known as a walking encyclopedia, he knew all the names of birds and rocks.
