Mingle Jingle, Street of Lights first Saturday

KINGMAN – Kingman Downtown Merchants Association will host their Annual Mingle Jingle Christmas Bazaar and Very Merry Street of Lights Display on Saturday, Dec. 2. The Mingle Jingle will offer a holiday-themed arts and crafts market at Beale Celebrations, 201 N. Fourth St., from 1 to 9 p.m. In addition to vendors, there will be a raffle, silent auction, and food trucks. KINGMAN – Western Area Council of Governments (WACOG) is partnering with Regional Center for Border Health (RCBH) for a Focus group to identify challenges / issues people with disabilities and/or their caregivers face as they get older. They are also interested in hearing from advocates and service providers. The kitchen is the heart of the home especially during Thanksgiving. Entertaining friends and family with lots of other potential distractions are all factors that can contribute to the increased likelihood of home cooking fires. According to the NFPA, Thanksgiving is the peak day for home cooking fires, with more than three times the daily average for incidents. Unattended cooking was by far the leading contributing factor to these fires.
