Learn the rumba at KHAC

KINGMAN – Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center (KHAC) is offering beginner and intermediate rumba dance lessons. Classes start Friday, Sept. 6 and run weekly through Friday, Oct. 11. Death investigation ongoing in Lake Havasu City

On August 29, at approximately 10:20 p.m., Lake Havasu City Police Department Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2900 block of Green Acres Drive in reference to a welfare check for a female who went to the residence to recover property and had not returned home.  Upon initial arrival, officers were not able to make contact with the female or the occupant of the residence. Arizona remains CWD-free due to surveillance efforts The Arizona Game and Fish Department is asking hunters to continue doing their part to help keep Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD), a neurodegenerative wildlife disease that is fatal to deer and elk, at bay. With the start of big game hunts right around the corner, all successful deer and elk hunters are encouraged to bring the head of their harvested animal — especially bucks and bulls — to any department office statewide between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. KINGMAN – The Children’s Garden at DigIt Kingman Community Garden will present Fall Harvest Day on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 9 to 11 a.m. Harvest Day will include educational demonstrations and games.
