Rodriguez rejects plea deal in death of her daughter

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City woman charged in the death of her daughter is rolling the dice on a possible life-long prison term rather than accept a plea agreement offer that mandates a 5- to 10-year sentence. 27-year-old Brittany Rodriquez has opted to go to trial on a first-degree murder charge rather than enter a deal that would convict her of attempted child abuse. Beale Street Theater presents The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged

KINGMAN –  Beale Street Theater’s Spring show will return after its postponement during COVID-19 in March. June 25 and 26, director Bob Blake and cast will be performing at 7 p.m. at Metcalf Park, 315 W. Beale Street both nights. The show is a satirical summary of every Shakespeare work, including that of Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. COVID-19 update: 19 new cases, four deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Wednesday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 19 new COVID-19 confirmed cases and four deaths. All four deaths occurred in the Bullhead City service area and are previously reported cases. One of them is in the 70-79 year age range; two are 80-89; one is 90+.
