BULLHEAD CITY – For the second time in five years, the Colorado River Union High School District has been awarded accreditation by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI). BULHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Council approved a contract amendment and extension last week that expands the city’s relationship with Water Rescue and Safety LLC (WRS) for public safety support along the Colorado River and community beaches. Police Chief Robert Trebes told the council that the partnership began in March, 2018 after a successful pilot program with another vendor, Contemporary Services Corporation. Trebes said city police boats made 191 waterway rescues and assists, 5 operating under the influence arrests, issued 133 citations and responded to 50 accidents in 2018 accidents.
