MEC classroom grant winners announced

BULLHEAD CITY – Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) awarded eighteen $200 classroom grants to educators for financial assistance in making classroom learning more engaging. Thirty-two applications were received for the eighteen available grants. A team at MEC evaluated the projects submitted by educators basing their grading on creativity, following application instructions, classroom integration, as well as benefits and financial need to students. KINGMAN – The Kingman Route 66 Street Drags are the largest legal street races in the world! This year the street drags will be held Friday through Sunday, May 17 through 19.
