MOHAVE COUNTY – County Recorder, Lydia Durst and her team are preparing for the 2024 General Election on Tuesday, November 5. Here is some of the vital information needed.

All registered voters are eligible to vote in the 2024 General Election. However, to be eligible, individuals must register by Monday, October 7. To register in person, please visit the Mohave County Recorder’s Office located at 700 W. Beale St. in Kingman Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Registration to vote can also take place online at www.azmvdnow.gov.

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society – Alpha Chi Omega chapter on the Kingman campus donated $500 each to the Humane Society of Mohave County and Mutt Matchers & Friends in Kingman. Donations were collected from the chapter hosting Talent Shows the previous two spring semesters on the Kingman Campus.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is an internationally recognized honor society for community college students.

PHOENIX – Attorney General Kris Mayes has announced the filing of an amicus brief in support of the Hualapai Tribe’s request for a preliminary injunction in Hualapai Indian Tribe v. Haaland and Arizona Lithium, Ltd. National Night Out event planned to promote safety awareness

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police and Fire Departments, along with Mohave Electric Cooperative, will host National Night Out on Wednesday, October 2 at 5 p.m., in the Bullhead City Police Department parking lot, 1255 Marina Boulevard.

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Women’s Soccer put on an impressive showing over the weekend in California, as the Bighorns came away with a commanding 18-1 victory over Community Christian College. Saturday’s win gives the women’s squad its first-ever win of the inaugural regular season as well as the first win in conference play.

“They were very excited and relieved to get their first win,” says Women’s Head Coach Robert Podeyn of his squad.
