KINGMAN – The 54th Annual Andy Devine Days Parade welcomes all of Mohave County to celebrate the community’s efforts. Hundreds watch the parade as floats and Kingman communities travel through Beale Street.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – It’s that time of year again when Lake Havasu’s summer ends and the Havasu Riviera Marine Association will sail in for their end of summer cleanup day. The Lake Havasu Marine Association (LHMA) is a nonprofit group that has a close relationship with stakeholders to support their ongoing efforts to conserve the environment.
The riviera team needs personal watercraft, boater, and kayak enthusiasts to attend but, you don’t have to own a boat to participate.
If I asked you what you worship, you might roll your eyes and say, “Here comes another lecture on idols and gods from some Christian zealot.”
But if I asked you, “What thing do you think about most or what do you do the most whether for pleasure or work,” you would probably have an answer. And if you did not, someone in your circle of friends and family would know.
I believe we might agree, people tend to focus on certain interests to the exclusion of others.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Cancer Care Resource and Michael Alan Furnishings are bringing breast cancer awareness to the community again this year with two different annual fundraisers. Over the weekend, Cancer Care Resource held Havasu’s annual breast cancer awareness walk on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. under the London Bridge Stage.
Cancer Care Resource operates under the Heidi Edwards Cooking for Cancer nonprofit. They raise funds to help cancer patients by partnering up with local restaurants that assist with their ongoing fundraisers.

Hello Ms. J.M. I couldn’t help but respond to your rage against former President Trump. No one knows how a person would react to being shot at until it happens. Scary as it was our former President was able to compose himself and let the people know to continue the fight for their beliefs and country which are being censored and ignored each and every day.
Strange how after January 20, 2021 the persecution of our former President intensified beyond the false rhetoric of 2016. Be Nice?
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Did you know that your supplemental nutrition assistance program (SNAP) benefits can be used at Lake Havasu’s Farmer’s Market? The Lake Havasu Farmer’s Market is a nonprofit by way of Havasu Together.
March of this year is when the nonprofit began accepting SNAP payments at our local farmer’s market. The choice worked out well since in the previous month, the farmer’s market started accepting the Double Up Food Bucks program.
