The following students have been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2023 semester at University of Jamestown. They are Jeremy Julius of Fort Mohave, and Cody Pellaton of Lake Havasu City. Students are named to the Dean’s List for earning a semester GPA of 3.5 or better.
MOHAVE COUNTY – At their last board meeting, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a letter of opposition regarding a proposed rule by the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) that would authorize the listing of “Natural Asset Companies” (NACs) as a novel investment vehicle on the New York Stock Exchange. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City police report six arrests and significant drug seizures during separate traffic stops after Christmas. Sergeant Michael Terrinoni said officers confiscated approximately 2,100 fentanyl pills, 13 grams of fentanyl powder, 60 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a pistol on Dec. 28.
