KINGMAN – A partial street closure of Andy Devine Avenue (Ella’s Place), adjacent to the Mohave Museum, will be required for the continuing construction of the Andy Devine Ave. ADA project starting Monday morning, February 10; barring any weather delays. The south-east bound lane of Andy Devine Ave. from the intersection of Beale Street to Route 66 will be closed to traffic for approximately two weeks. Two injured in head-on collision

KINGMAN – A driver was taken to a medical facility following a head-on collision on Saturday, Feb. 1. The accident occurred in the area of Jagerson Ave. and Van Nuys Rd. According to a Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, a white Dodge truck with a box trailer and an older model Ford truck blocked both lanes of traffic and both vehicles sustained heavy damage. The cab of the Ford truck had been crushed inwards, pinning the driver inside.
