LAKE HAVASU CITY – Officers used non-lethal means to arrest a combative attempted homicide suspect in Lake Havasu City. An anonymous tip Friday afternoon put authorities on the trail of Gary Edwin Pappilli, 63. KINGMAN – No one was hurt when a popular downtown Kingman eatery was evacuated Sunday, August 30, when smoke filled its kitchen area. Kingman Fire Department personnel responded to Calico’s on Beale St. at 3:23 p.m. Assistant Fire Chief crews detected an electrical fire had spread through the attic area of the restaurant. He said little if any flame was evident though the electrical incident caused significant smoke damage between the ceiling and rooftop. She fills the position vacated by Larry Tennant’s resignation in June. She will complete Larry’s term through 2022.
