LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City council members are starting to think about design and construction of the fitness center purchased for renovation and use as a municipal court facility close to City Hall. No action was taken during the Oct. 27 council meeting, but there’s a consensus to move forward. “You never want to let an asset sit,” Mayor Cal Sheehy said. FT. MOHAVE – The Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce helped commemorate the opening of I Sharpen Shears in Fort Mohave this week. Owner George Smith has been sharpening shears for over nine years; three of those years have been in the Tri-State area providing sales and service of shears, scissors and clippers to stylists, barbers and groomers.
