KRMC hosts Annual Women’s Health Fair at Hualapai Mountain Campus

KINGMAN – Kingman Regional Medical Center presents its annual Women’s Health Fair. This year’s expo will be held on Saturday, October 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in KRMC’s Hualapai Mountain Campus, 3801 Santa Rosa Drive. Over 30 organizations will participate in the event, offering screenings and information to enhance the health and wellbeing of women in our community. Information will be available on various health topics, including family planning, exercise, nutrition, and physical activity. This event is free and open to the public with refreshments and prizes.

County fairgrounds draws praise

KINGMAN  – Mohave County has taken its share of criticism since assuming operation of the Mohave County Fairgrounds at the start of 2022. One man, however, offered heaps of praise during the Oct. 2 Board of Supervisors meeting. Mohave County Gemstoners board member Gary Bolles told supervisors the club had struggled to find a suitable venue before holding its annual Rock, Gem and Mineral show at the Fairgrounds in Kingman last May. “Everything turned out great. I am very happy with the way you guys turned the Fairgrounds around and we plan on using it more and more,” Bolles said….

BOS accepting requests to serve on water board

MOHAVE COUNTY –The County Board of Supervisors voted at its October 2, meeting to begin considering a conversion process from the Golden Valley Improvement District (GVID) to a Domestic Water Improvement District (DWID). The item will continue to the board’s October 16 meeting.
