Airport parcel purchased

KINGMAN – A Colorado-based development company submitted the only bid for a 30-acre parcel at the Kingman Airport Industrial Park. KiernanWest LLC offered the minimum $1,975,000 required for the purchase in a bid opened Friday.

Chief Operating Officer Mike O’Brien said the company isn’t ready to divulge details at this point.

“We are doing a build to suit for a tenant that does package delivery,” O’Brien said. “Outside of that our tenant requires a high degree of confidentiality.”

O’Brien said it may be a couple of months or more before project details are made public.
