A hopeless lost sinner speaks

Dear Editor,

Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow I may die? I will steal, cheat, and lie, you may ask or even wonder why? I have no moral compass there is no absolute truth. I learned this from my parents’ behavior since my wretched youth.

I love my freedom to choose to be a woman or a man, come follow me and you will see, take me by the hand. I don’t know if there is a God high above the sky? So, I will live my life as I please for tomorrow I may die.

This meaningless life, pleasure seeking is for one’s taking. All the while my empty heart, my empty soul is aching. So many different religions, they say all paths lead back to the same way. I hope they’re not wrong and I will eternally have to pay.

Sex, drugs and rock and roll somehow does not ease all of my pain. I look to society as a whole and feel that they’re tom blame. So, I will eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow I may die?

You may ask? Why do you feel this way? Stop! Just look around! Do you really wonder why?
