Home fire from smoking materials

BULLHEAD CITY – At approximately 11:15 a.m, Friday morning, Nov. 8, Bullhead City Fire Department (BCFD) units were dispatched for a bedroom on fire at a residence located on De Angelis Ave. All occupants were reported to be out of the home, but two pets were believed to be inside still. E761 arrived first on scene and reported a working fire in a rear bedroom.

Crews quickly located and extinguished the fire, which was contained in a master bath and bedroom. Crews confirmed that the home was evacuated, and no fire had extended into the attic space. The fire was caused by improperly disposed of smoking materials.
