KINGMAN, Ariz. – A Kingman man will serve time in the Arizona Department of Corrections after entering a plea agreement on Oct. 19 to resolve his drug case. Devin West, 41, is being convicted of a charge reduced to attempted transportation of narcotic drugs for sale.

Deputy Mohave County Attorney Tonda Hill said about 13 grams of fentanyl was seized when a vehicle driven by West was pulled over by narcotic task force officers on June 17. She said investigators found content within his cell phone consistent with drug sale related communications.

West faces a two- to five-year prison term when sentenced Nov. 9 by Judge Ryan Esplin.
