BULLHEAD CITY, Ari. – A vehicle-focused crime spree in Bullhead City brings five felony convictions and a possible Arizona Department of Corrections stint for a teenager. A plea agreement resolving six separate 2026 cases was entered on Oct. 16 for Travis Cassidy, 18.

One case and 11 various charges are dismissed in the deal.

Cassidy pleaded guilty to a charge reduced to attempted theft of means of transportation for a March 26 incident involving a vehicle stolen from the Mountain Crest Apartments in the 800 block of Baseline Road. Deputy Mohave County attorney James Gilmore said video surveillance showed Cassidy exiting as the driver after the same vehicle was subsequently involved in a traffic accident in Las Vegas.

Cassidy pleaded guilty for a March 27 vehicle entry in the 700 block of East Citrus Street. Gilmore said the defendant caused more than $1,000 to the steering column while trying to steal the vehicle.

Cassidy is convicted of another criminal damage count for entering and attempting to steal a vehicle at another location on May 17. Gilmore said the steering column sustained more than $1,000 in damage.

Cassidy is also convicted of burglary for unauthorized entry into another vehicle in the 1300 block of S Park Lane, also on May 17. Gilmore said it was part of a criminal car burglary spree during which Cassidy was looking to steal property within, or the vehicle itself.

Gilmore said another burglary conviction involved a July 26 incident when Cassidy served as a lookout as accomplices were looking for property to steal during unauthorized entry into a vehicle in the 1600 block of Paige Drive.

Cassidy is eligible for supervised probation, but he can also be sent to prison for up 8.5-years. Sentencing before Judge Billy Sipe is scheduled Nov. 9.
